We are finally moving away from the 30s and into more Spring-like temps for Tilghman Island and with the warmer weather come a few annual events that I think you should take note of.
This coming weekend the gracious innkeepers at the Black Walnut Point Inn will host their Easter Festival on Easter Sunday from 12-4. The festivities include a catered buffet by Two if by Sea, live music, an Easter Egg Hunt, mimosas and much, much more. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids and are available at Two if by Sea Cafe or at the event.
The following Saturday, April 11th the Tilghman Watermen’s Museum will host their annual “Splendor” event to help fund the only museum dedicated exclusively to the Eastern Shore watermen, their fishery and their legacy. We strongly support their efforts. Further more, we love an excuse to visit with old friends, make new ones, enjoy great food, wine and beer, all while supporting a growing and vibrant local museum. There will be live and silent auctions and more. Email the museum for more info.
I hope to see you this season on and around our beautiful little Island that is the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake.
